The short VIVACITY C features as a winning bus for transport on narrow and twisting roads and on all the situations of difficult road network typical of historic towns. The two double doors, the wide corridor obtained by using a single tyre rear axle, allow an unbeatable fruition of the inner space for standing and transit passengers with a total capacity of 52 passengers inclunding one wheelchair on board in compliance with EEC/2001/85. The width of 2,35 m and the use of independent front wheel suspensions assure driving precision, trip comfort for driver and passengers, road holding.The Multiplex electrical system allows to keep under control all the functional parameters of the bus mechanical groups, to put faults on evidence and recording them in the memory of a black box. The midi bus Vivacity M is a multivalent vehicle addressing for its inner versatility to several transport areas characterised by a reduced road section. With a length of about 9,40m and a width of 2,35m the transportation capacity is 71 passengers including one wheelchair on board in compliance with EEC/2001/85. The MULTIPLEX electrical system is of a new generation; by means of a hardware module and a GSM transmission software, all the bus functional parameters, controlled and recorded by the onboard diagnostic, are transferred “just in time” to a remote operation centre together with the bus localization. The bus M 240 LI is a short range intercity bus with ultralow floor, derived from the urban version. It features a capacity of 46 passengers seated, and 24 standing; the doors open swinging outside, the central is double with possibility to mount a ramp for the wheelchair access, and the front door is single swinging.
The independent front wheel suspension is completed with an antirolling bar allowing a perfect road holding at the typical speeds of the intercity service. Technical file:

The first hybrid propelled bus which constitutes an actual alternative to the use of traditional diesel buses, maintaining the same performances, passenger capacity and range. The energy for the vehicle motion is supplied by a battery system and in parallel by a medium power diesel generator running at variable rate. The two sources of energy alternate and integrate themselves in variable ratios according to the energy requirement of the different transients up to cutting the emissions in total through the automatic engine stop (red traffic lights, idling).
